Lake Ontario Charter Fishing

Warning: Fishing for trophy trout and Salmon on Lake Ontario is Addicitive

Lake Ontario has a WORLD CLASS FISHERY. In the SPRING from early April through May we fish in close to the shore line for Browns Trout, Steelhead(Rainbows) and Lake Trout with a mix of juvenile and mature Chinook & Coho Salmon.

SUMMER FISHING is deep water thermocline fishing for Browns, Rainbows, Lake Trout, and Salmon.

FALL FISHING is a mix of deep and shallow water as we pursue mature trophy King Salmon.

On 7/24/05 Minno Vanderwal and his two sons caught brown trout and summer salmon

When you fish with Capt. Bill

  1. You will be safe and secure while you are fishing a very large body of water with a captain who has been licensed by the US Coast Guard since 1986.
  2. You fish with a Captain who has been successfully showing people a good time fishing on Lake Ontario for almost 20 years.
  3. You get a Captain who has up to date information on where the fish are biting and what they are biting on. A full time Captain who is dedicated on doing the best job possible for his anglers.
  4. All the tackle is provided for you to fish with and the rods and reels are matched to the fish that you are catching.
  5. You get to fish on a 28 foot Baha Sportfisherman. A boat big enough to give you protection from the weather with plenty of seating for everyone. Your safety and fish catching ability will be improved by state of the art electronic equipment and for your convenience and privacy there is a enclosed marine head.
  6. Your trip will not be interrupted by the Coast Guard stopping to check our safety equipment while we are fishing. We have a voluntary safety inspection done early each season.
  7. You will get complimentary fish cleaning by the Captain. You have a choice of having your fish gutted and gilled or filleted. The fish will be bagged for your trip home where they will be ready for cooking or freezing.
  8. Unless you otherwise request it there will be no mate on board. You get involved in the total fishing experience. When the fish hits you grab your own rods from the rod holders and set the hooks yourself. You also get to help in setting the rods as much as possible. If you feel that a mate is needed one will be provided for you at no additional charge.
