Capt Bill and Barbara have been life long residents of Oswego County in upstate New York. We have been married since 1968 and have raised 3 children and are now enjoying 8 grandchildren.Our latest grandchild a little girl Lily Anne Whelpton was born in Sarasota, FL on 09/12/06

I was licensed by the US Coast Guard and started a charter fishing business as the lucky Dutchman in 1986. To better serve our anglers Barbara and I built and opened the Feeder Creek Lodge in 1990. We felt that by offering lodging along with fishing as a package we could insure our customers an enjoyable and quaility experience

In 1995 we purchased a 28 ft. Baha Sportfisherman which became the LuckyDutchman II and in 1996 we committed to a full time Charter and lodging business.

I contribute to fishing columns in newspapers such as the Albany Times Union and monthly magazines such as the New York Fish and Game Monthly
